We at Gilead Baptist Church support Missionaries all over the country. Brother Mike, is committed in his effort to make sure that as many people, within his power, hear the Gospel. He faithfully preaches to his flock at Gilead Baptist Church, he preaches in revivals all over the United States and he tirelessly prays and supports those in the Mission field. However, Missionaries can never succeed without the support of their Brothers and Sisters in Christ; whether it is with prayer or with financial support.

We also have a burden for the evangelists that have now retired from traveling the highways and byways preaching God’s word. These men have selflessly sacrificed their lives, families and health by traveling day and night to bring the Gospel to all that would hear them. Now, after numerous miles and many hard years, the time has come and they are physically exhausted. They are unable to keep up with the pace that they once did. However, there are still bills to be paid, and families that need to be supported. After praying for the situation, Brother Mike has put up what we call ”The old preacher’s box.” The box is located in the back of our church, and whoever desires, can donate money to these blessed souls. Whether it is a twenty or a one hundred dollar bill, God will bless and continue to supply their needs.
Please help us pray for Bob Daugherty John Mitchell, Roy Goodson (A FEW MONTHS AGO BROTHER GOODSON WAS DIGANOSED WITH A MASS ON HIS KIDNEY. THE DOCTORS IMPRESSION WAS THAT THE MASS WAS CANCEROUS. LAST WEEK HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE MASS WAS NOT CANCER. (PRAISE THE LORD) Randy Pike and his wife have health issues which they need our prayers.
